Sometimes you run across things in the media world that tug at your heart. This video is one of them to me. This video reminded me of why I became a Creative in the first place. I love to capture memories, and it all started a long time ago in a closet that held so many memories and wonder. As a child I’d dig (literally) through old boxes in my Nana’s closet, filled with pictures of people I’d never know, and long away places. Sometimes I’d find an old one of my Mom, and that was true treasure!
On the other side, my Grandpa bought his first Nikon from Japan long ago. Something about being in the Navy and rushing off the ship to make sure he got to the store and back. He has soo many pictures on slides and in photo albums, much more organized than the boxes, but still full of wonder. These are our keepsakes and documented history in our family. I’m so happy to be apart of creating that for my clients.
